Prefabricated Homes refer to buildings built in components or modules also known as modular homes with transportable sections. There are many types of floor plans, as well as many custom modular home plans. Prefabricated Homes also called modular homes are created in sections or modules, and then transported to the building site for construction and installation. These homes are typically installed and treated like a stick built house, for financing, appraisal and construction purposes. Although the sections of the house are prefabricated, these sections, or modules, are put together at the construction site much like a typical stick built house. Once your prefabricated or modular house is placed on its permanent foundation it is considered to be identical to or better than a site or stick build house.
