Modular and manufactured home are not the same. Modular homes have permanent foundations that your home is constructed onto using modular construction. Manufactured homes, sometimes referred to as (but are not always) mobile homes, can be moved from one location to another. Manufactured homes are called mobile homes or trailers. The difference between Modular vs Manufactured Homes is that a manufactured home can be more easily and transported as-is to a new location if the owner wishes to relocate it.
